32. Night

A beautiful place
void of light
see without eyes
ignore the fright
the chills down your back
you know that you feel
Refuse to believe
this joy is real
no one can see
how lovely a night
when others strive
to bow to light
and no one hears
the little songs
that night sings
and strums along
twinkles of broken
little perfection
cracks in the sky
avoiding correction
flaws will always
make things real
and you'll never have
to refuse to feel
when night blankets
things in their touch
and all of your evils
cannot seek your clutch
they cannot see
what they cannot believe
and no one really
knows the relief
you can never see
what beauty lies
in my broken night,
lest you see without eyes.
