a pain never felt
a sorrow never dwelled
a smile never seen
Its all in a dream
a laugh in the dark
another woman being stark
another light up on the stage
am i here yet?
another whisper
another word
anoher laugh left unheard
another cry in my heart
can you feel it?
another song
anther tune
another rain
another noon
another sky
another day
are we gone yet?
another rut
another sob
another heartbreak
another job
another kid
another lie
is it tall yet?
another move
another shake
another furrow
another ache
another hope
another loss
is it in sight yet?
another wind
another current
another high
another torrent
another scream
another light

I feel this acrid bile
rising in my lungs
I see the sky darken
clouding out the sun
I see your whispers hush
as though they spoke no words
I've seen you eye me
as though you know I heard
I've seen you turn your head
to the rising moon
but the rays won't touch your face
they just go right through
because to me you are not tangible
just a ghost flitting past
like a swallow in my shadow
our company won't last
look into my eyes,
do you see me there?
I cry for all the wilted flowers
do you see my fear?
A seconds all the time i'd ask
if i had a clock
and an hours all the time i need
to analyze the shock
but if i were to open
and let the water fall
Shadows lick,
her tattered soles,
like ashes lick,
the city's souls.
A ring sat, fallen,
on the ground.
Left dropped in chaos,
it made no sound.
Charred rubble left,
on driveway remains,
as a light's left flickering,
across the plains,
and the darkening sky,
is peppered with smoke.
A window is shattered,
but alas the lock broke.
With a sleeve for a mask,
and guns strapped to her shin,
the door splintered open,
and invited her in.
The red stains on the carpet,
and up the steep wall,
laced down to the doorway,
and up through the hall.
She checks all the corners,
and listens for noise,
but as she creeps gently,
she hea

Failure to Strive
Hands are frigid,
on the glass,
looks in her eyes,
reflected back.
Her arms are shaking,
her mouth is dry.
theres so much pain,
she felt inside.
A clock is ticking,
in the room.
She knows it's there,
she feels it move.
A monster deep inside of her,
she numbed it out,
can't feel it stir.
Her pupils are wide,
seeing all,
a world who's wonders,
heard her call.
A place where her back,
shall feel no wall,
a place where gravity,
won't let her fall.
She wounds her arms,
like a clockwork mechanism,
Too far gone,
for hypocritical facism.
Her bills are mocked,
by her diagnosed -ism's,
financial struggle,
became her prison

The Cliff and the Mockingbird.
There's a feeling deep inside me,
quivering down within.
I see the cliff that is my mind,
and this rope is growing thin.
There is a word that's ruined me,
from the beginning to the end,
and as I look upon the rocks,
I know time's ticking in.
I search for answers through the brush,
that welcomes me like a friend,
but momentarily I am lost
and only to be lost again.
There is a bird, its lonely there,
in the tree where my troubles begin,
and I hear it's song cry out to me,
it's singing deep within.
"There is no songs to sing today,
no songs to sing my friend.
For this was your beginning,
but I'm to be your end,
and when you hear my shattered cry

The Way She Tries
I was your petal, but you let me wilt,
and I, I was your flower but you let me fall.
And I, I don't know why, these words they are killing me,
and I, I don't know why, I want to die sometimes, sometimes...
But I, I don't know why I even try, anymore
and I , I don't know why--I try-When the world is letting me down
and I, I don't know why, I return the favor. No I don't know why...
I guess I care too much
and I, I was your girl, I was a something to a someone
even though thr crow caws no one, is me. Yes no one's me...
and I, I was your child, I was your hope, until I lost my own...
and I, I'm giving up, just giving up.
And I, I do

His Petal's Love
I woke up this morning and saw your face
and with it there was a chill embrace
it was sweet and sovereign just like the wood
and with all time, still it stood.
I touched the floor and felt a weeping
solemn like a poison seeping
through the skin and to the heart
as a jolt of pain and mourning had start
a frozen piece of broken glass
cracked with the ticking as time did pass
an omen left me without will
a beating stopped, within was still.
a piercing shriek ripped from within
I felt the rope ebb, pining thin
a creaking joint began to shake
and with it was a wavering quake
the muscles tensed and shook again
the tearing found

Falling For You
Tears slipping off cheeks
like feet slipping off creeks
high in the sky
no chance for goodbye
faded grays turning blue
acrid pain torn in two
up so high
no chance to ask why
her anger bubbles out of pain
her tears flow from blood stains
her hearts ripping, hurting, beating, too fast
stabbing pain from her life's past
she clutches her loves hand
finds grains of her clocks sand
falling out of clouds that're tearing in two
don't know what to believe when I'm falling for you...
